The Chotay Pad Mantra or Sat Narayan is a traditional Sikh mantra from India. It connects us with water as an element and helps us flow smoothly through life.

Sat Narayan: True sustainer
Wahe guru: Indescribable wisdom
Hari Narayan: Creative substance
Sat nam: True identity

In Sanskrit, one of many names for water is "naara" which also means "human". "Ayana" means path as a goal. We could translate Narayan as "water in motion, flowing"; or as " the way of men".

Narayan is the aspect of infinity related to water, Hari Narayan is the creative substance and those who sing it become intuitive.

Sat nam: Verdadera identidad

En sánscrito uno de los nombres para el agua es “naara” que también significa “humano”. “Ayana” es el camino como objetivo.
Podríamos traducir Narayan como “agua en movimiento, que fluye” o como “el camino del hombre”.

Narayan es el aspecto del infinito relacionado con el agua.
Hari Narayan es la sustancia creativa que hace, a quién lo canta, intuitivo.
